This is the Explorer I’ve been waiting for. perfect for my wrist (~7 inches) and as nicely proportioned as the 124270, which I owned, but could never warm up to the size. I have not found any strap combo that looks nice on Rolex explorer (or Sub maxi case) so keeping mine on bracelet. I do have lots of straps and pair them with my watches but explorer ain’t speedmaster which is the true strap monster.

I'm the proud owner of a Rolex Explorer I ref 124270 new in July 2023. I put my name down at a dealer in Fort Worth, Haltoms Jewelers. Had a great salesperson there, John, that unbelievably gave me a call within 3 WEEKS that he had the 36mm Explorer I steel in the shop and ready for me to come by. 2-3 years ago I tried on a 124270 Exp36 that was a perfect fit on my flat 6.5” flat wrist. However the 19mm to 14mm bracelet taper was simply not to my liking. So I’ll be content to rotate my 114270 Exp36 and my 214270 Exp39. It all . It's been almost a year since I got the call from my AD saying my Explorer has arrived. I was very hyped, since it was my first Rolex. I asked about the price (I put my name on the list 4 months prior when it was 6050 EUR) and of course, I got the answer I expected - the new price is 6750 EUR. We take an in-depth look at the new Rolex Explorer reference 124270, which takes traits from its old self, bringing it full circle.

The New 36mm Explorer 124270. I had the chance to play with the new 2021 36mm Explorer release yesterday. and it was underwhelming. As a smaller wrist guy and a 14270 owner, I welcomed the 36mm change to the Explorer. I want an explorer just like yours -- love the green too. Consider the Artem sailcloth strap (black with black stitching). I tried quite a few straps with my 214270, and this combo was the winner. It has a very clean, modern look, and the quality of the strap is excellent.
