They basically took a watch I really liked and made it one I absolutely love. The Air-King is so simple and clean, it could tend towards feeling antiseptic, cold, and severe. But the slightly domed acrylic crystal instead warms it up & gives it some character; together with the Jubilee bracelet, the watch actually has kind of a jaunty verve.

I have a Panerai but with my small wrist I think it time to move on from the big watch look. I have the opportunity to buy either the new 2022 126900 or the older model 116900 also new. Price is reasonable and apparently it comes from a reputable seller. If you really want one of the new Air Kings, no reason not to do it. I'm a big Air King fan and am hoping they drop into "bargain" territory for someone who really does not need another watch. A forum community dedicated to watch owners and enthusiasts. I'm thinking to potentially get a Rolex Air King from my AD; they can also get me the new Oyster Perpetual 41mm. My recommendation: yes, the Air-King is definitely better for comfort (on a slender wrist) than any of the bigger or full size mechanical Rolexs; but its lack of a date window, I think, makes it a bit dull to live with after a while. INCOMING - Rolex Air King, 126900. Excited to say that I picked up an Air King from an AD yesterday! Couldn’t believe that I got the call in under five weeks, especially since I’ve never purchased from an AD before. Enjoying the piece .I love my 116900 Air King and prefer it to my other Rolex’s. Ignore all the haters and ‘parts bin’ comments those wankers can’t afford a Rolex anyway. The current Air-King runs on the Caliber 3230 movement, shared by the Oyster Perpetual, Sea Dweller, and the 124060 Submariner.
