Rolex did "fix" the issue with the black bezel versions, although the steel one is 42mm. Ultimately Tudor did a better job of fixing the design for what I was looking for anyway. Save Share Rolex has spoiled us for choice this year, with the attention-grabbing Daytona, the youthful Air-King and numerous two-tone options. But if you prefer your Rolex to be more stealth than statement, you can’t go wrong with this excellent new steel and platinum Yacht-Master 40.
Rhodium. I like the grayish color a bit more over the blue (unpopular opinion I know) even though the whole watch is SS. The blue accents on the dial and hand is a nice offset and compliments the watch crazily in my opinion. Not getting a stainless steel sub anytime soon, but swung my AD in town and surprised to see they had a blue and the rhodium gray yatch master 40 mm in stock. Liked them equally and getting both isn’t and option this watch is a stunner, I love the shape of the case, the dial and the blue second hand, also this watch is one of the last affordable Rolex Sports watches, I hope to get one of these in the very near future.
