The Large jumps up to 40cm x 31cm in size, making it more of a shopper style. Looking into buying the black small sac de jour as my first big luxury bag purchase.. Basically chose it as a bag that I can take to client meetings and fit my ipad and that'll hold up well (I'm not the most careful with my things.) and also not draw too much attention.
There are four sizes of this bag, and only the Small and Large offer an interior center zip compartment that separates the bag into two areas. For me that’s a must, and the small size resembles more of a medium size.
